Born in Boscombe, England on 24/09/63 to Abdulazizi Dauda Somo & Marie Wya nee Carr Mustafa attended primary schools such as Grange School, Ikeja, Corona School, Yaba, Capital School, Kaduna before proceeding to King's College, Lagos from 1975 - 1979 for his Secondary Education. From Lagos it was off to School of Basic Studies, Ahmadu Bello University from 1979 - 1980. In 1980 he undertook his B.Sc Business Administration (Marketing) at the Kongo Campus of A.B.U. Zaria, graduating in 1983.
After completing his National Youth Service at the School of Management Studies, Potiskum, Bornu State in 1984.
Mustafa proceeded to join the New Nigerian Newspaper Limited in February 1985 as an Asst. Marketing Officer.
By September 1985 he joined the United Bank for Africa Ltd as an Officer serving in Lagos, Minna, Abuja & Kaduna South branches before leaning in 1990 to serve briefly in the Universal Trust Bank Plc, Kano branch as the Treasury Officer.
By June 1990, Mustafa was ready to fulfill his lifetime dream of setting up International Standard Graphic Communication firm that he had conceptualized during his second year at University and so Fiotima Oma Ltd was established.
Mustafa got married to Judith Omaerome Erighono on 10/03/1990 and is blessed with four children, Abdulazizi, Marie, Shannon and David. His interests include traveling, reading, watching movies, walking and spending quality time with family and friends. |
